Sandoval County Fire Chief, Eric Masterson (far left) presented members of the Rio Grande Basin Rescue Team to the County Commissioners to laud the Team’s efforts during 2024, that included assisting in the Ruidoso fire and flooding events. Battalion Chief Adam Quinn, (third from right), leads the Sandoval County firefighters/paramedics within the Rescue Team. The Rio Grande Basin Rescue Team is a collaborative effort among Sandoval County Fire and Rescue, Bernalillo Fire/Rescue, Corrales Fire Department, Rio Rancho Fire and Rescue, Albuquerque Fire Rescue, and Sandoval County Emergency Management.
