Jicarilla Apache president, Adrian Notsinneh, addressed the County Commission after accepting the County’s Proclamation that December 2024 is a celebration of the Jicarilla Apache Nation Inauguration and its leadership. Commissioner Joshua A. Jones, District 5 sponsored the Proclamation. The Inauguration of the President and a new tribal councilor was held on December 6, 2024, at tribal headquarters in Dulce, NM. The Jicarilla Apache Nation Indian Reservation spans over 879,917 acres in north-central New Mexico.
