About the Program

The intent of the Sandoval County Veterans’ Hiring Initiative is to recognize the valuable contributions of veterans and their families, and assist them in transitioning to civilian life by increasing employment opportunities for veterans with Sandoval County.

Program Eligibility & Requirements

Veterans must complete the Sandoval County Certification of Veteran’s Status form HRD.26-2015 and submit the form, a copy of their DD215 or proof of Active Guard or Reserve enlistment, and a completed Sandoval County Application for Employment to the Human Resources Office by 5 p.m. on the advertised closing date for any position in which they are interested.
