The mission of the New Mexico Medical Reserve Corps (NM MRC) Program is to augment local community health and medical services staff with pre-identified, trained and credentialed NMMRC volunteers. The NM MRC network was established to effectively facilitate the use of private volunteers during a disaster.

NM MRC volunteers include medical and public health professionals, as well as others interested in strengthening the public health infrastructure and improving the preparedness and response capabilities of their local jurisdiction.

In Sandoval County the NM MRC could be used in use of several key areas such as large disaster triage sites and Points of Dispensing (POD).

For more information on the NMMRCServes please see the NMMRCServes brochure.
