Annually, May 15th is National Peace Officers Memorial Day. This is the only day other than a national holiday where flags are always flown at half-staff as America and over 40,000 law enforcement officers and survivors come to Washington, DC to memorialize those officers who have given their lives in the service of this nation.

This event is one of the signature events convened during "Police Week" and it provides an opportunity to let our officers and the survivors know that we appreciate their sacrifices and show our support for America's law enforcement officers.

Participating in the event but not limited to are.... Those in the Federal Government, Government, Government General, Law Enforcement, Local / Municipal, Military, State Government as well as the Fire Department family.
