Sandoval County officials have a strong history of supporting business development, highlighted by the County Commission’s 1980 vote to pass what at the time was the largest industrial revenue bond (IRB) package in New Mexico history.
That $40-milllion bond package brought Intel—still New Mexico’s largest private-sector employer—to Sandoval County. However, the county’s support of business development did not end there.
Over the years, the county has backed multiple initiatives that demonstrate an ongoing commitment to growing businesses of all sizes—and creating jobs for county residents.
